TPC-15 photochromic lens tester is specially designed for measurement on photochromic lens in the quality control process. Through this device, it will give user deep understanding of performance on photochromic lens. 

Irradiation light and measurment light at the same path

TPC-15 ensures that irradiation light and measurement light are at the same path. Such design shows color change point is same as measured point, which ensures that measurement error will not occur due to curvature of the lens.

The UV light in the car is significantly reduced compared to the outdoors, and excellent driving photochormic lenses will change color due to the visible light.  In order to meet such testing request,  TPC-15 can perform visible light irradiation testing in a UV-isolated state.

Capture every detail in the process of lens color change

Once you set irradiaton temperature, intensity of irradiaton and measurement time in the software and click on "start" button,  it will automatically perform measurement process and output a set of measurement data

Data related to fading and darkening of the lens will be recorded as well.  In the photo below,  transmittance curve chart by waveband and by seconds at different status of color change will allow you to capture every details for performance of lens.

Output a full set of data related to color change

Time and speed data related to the lens changing from darken to faden will be automatically measured.  

Lab coordinate report will further give you to deep dive into the color change and its difference.
