This new machine combines the proven feature of a drum (disk) sponge tool with modern control and vacuum features. It retains the Larsen mark of quality in the stainless-steel construction and ease of maintenance. While the machine works great on lathe turned edges, it excels on “un-cut” irregular scleral lens edges.
Operator friendly features include:
· Self-contained low/high vacuum independently controlled on each lens spindle, no external vacuum pump is needed.
· Lens spindle speed control for low speed to assist in centering, then high speed rolling.
· Automatic/Manual lens spindle engagement reduces operator fatigue.
· Assortment of suction cups for corneal and scleral lenses.
· Digital cycle time control.
· Direct lens diameter control.
· Lateral offset for front/back rolling.
